Introducing The Hoosier Chapter, Victorian Society in America

Back in October, Indianapolis joined an exclusive list of places around the country granted a chapter of the Victorian Society in America. There are only 18 other chapters in the nation and we are proud of this accomplishment. The new "Hoosier Chapter" of the Victorian Society in America is headquartered at the Morris-Butler House, 1204 N. Park Avenue in the Old Northside Historic Neighborhood.

The group's inaugural event will be Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Morris Butler House. The "Victorian Antiques Appraisal Show" featuring renowned local appraiser, J. Scott Keller will start at 10am. Members, members to be and others are invited to join in the fun! All Hoosier VSA members may have two items appraised at no cost(no jewelry, coins or stamps please) and will also include a tour of the Morris-Butler House.

$20 Student
$40 Individual
$50 Family (2 adults)
$100 Business

The first year will feature quarterly events sponsored by the chapter:
March 6, 2010- Victorian Antiques Appraisal Show with J. Scott Keller @ Morris-Butler House
June 19-20, 2010- "The Game is Afoot" a downtown treasure hunt of Victorian era architecture
3rd Quarter- To Be determined
November 13, 2010 Annual meeting & Banquet
